Maze of the Week #184 - San Antonio Skyline Maze

This maze of the San Antonio Skyline was a requested commission for a book. I liked the way it came out and present to to you today with only minor updates. I changed the size (larger) and switched the font of the title. I also moved the title from under the maze to inside the border so that I could maximize the maze size. I like the black and white look of this maze, and think it works as a coloring page also. The actual maze is not very complicated. The majority of my time drawing this was spent making windows on buildings ! Enjoy Maze of the Week #184.

One of my more popular mazes is a maze of The Alamo Mission in San Antonio !

This maze also reminds me of one of my early mazes done for charity I called “Lost in the City”. Would you believe I made it in Excel !! I’m sure it can be found somewhere on the site…but here it is again ! A different style and a much more difficult maze to solve.

I found this movie on an IMDB list that said it may contain a maze which also described the movie as “abstract”. That is exactly what this movie is. I had to read and explanation online to understand what was actually going on during the movie. There is no dialogue or narration or voiceover to explain anything. Just a group of mangled women making their way through passageways under a house and inside the walls of a house. It feels claustrophobic at times and a bit mazelike. The music fits the movie, but there is not a lot going on. The kind of movie you can watch at 3X speed, but that would ruin the mood the director wanted you to feel during the movie. So I suggest you skip it.

I give it a 3.4/10.

I like a good old whodunnit movie with an ensemble cast. This one happens to be a Polish film (also known as Spadek), but you can watch it in English on Netflix. A family gathers at an large estate after the owner has been murdered to be read the will. The will stipulates that there will be a game to determine who receives a portion of the fortune. The levels are fun and typical for this type of movie, but most importantly one of the later levels is a maze they need to solve as a group ! It just so happens that the maze is dynamic with moving walls !! Here is a screenshot of the maze:

Overall the movie is ok. I liked it better than the reviews, but it is nothing to seek out unless you like this genre of movie.
