Maze of the Week #61 - The Moon

My clue for this week was a maze that would be out of this world. Hopefully you enjoy this large format Maze of the week #61 of The Moon ! I feel like you already know what it looks like and learned about it in school even if you probably don’t recall a lot of fun facts about it.

National Geographic makes nice videos:

The Maze: Back to back weeks with experiments with size. This one is square, and quite large. I went with color, although it really is jusy greyscale. And the scale is so large you can’t see the start and goal easily without downloading it.

Maze of the Week #60 - SGAE Headquarters

We stay Spanish speaking but move to Spain this week from Mexico for Maze of the week #60 of the very interesting building for Sociedade Xeral de Autores e Editores or SGAE. The building is part of the University of Santiago de Compostela located in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. You can read about the society and what it does on their Wikipedia page.

Take a few minutes and watch the stones being placed as the building was being created:

Most photos of the building are copyrighted so you’ll need to do your own search to see it.

The Maze: A little bit of an experiment. Because the building is so long I matched the maze shape to the building. Great when printed….but a bit odd when fitted to a screen. Full color.

Maze of the Week #59 - Walking street in Queretaro, Mexico

Maze of the week #59 takes us to my Winter home of Queretaro, Mexico. If you have never visited, the city center has many walking streets, including this one. I was inspired to take a picture and make it into a maze and video! I took a picture from in front of the Bistrot Chez Julien facing up the walking street called Av. Prol. Luis Pasteur.

If you have 17 minutes and want to learn about my city:

The Photo: Take my word for it, the colors are more vibrant in person !

The Maze: Final full color version. I changed the street tiles to make the maze easier.

Maze of the week #58 takes us to London, England with this maze of The Gherkin building. I made a few different versions of this maze as you’ll see below. If you want to visit the building at 30 St Mary Axe you can check out their the Gherkin website. Or check out this cool article featuring 28 facts about the building.

Take 2 minutes to watch a video about the building:

The Mazes: I prefer the full color skinny version below that highlights the height and form of the building.
