Laberinto del Danzante Conchero Chichimeca

Located in the centro of Queretaro, Mexico, the statue of the Danzante Conchero Chichimeca is a popular photo opportunity. The walking street you see behind the statue is full of small shops selling souvenirs and the streets are often full of indigenous vendors sitting on the ground selling similar items (hand made lele dolls are popular). And if you walk for about 5 minutes you will come to my second maze from this city !

The Maze: This maze was abandoned (Why I abandoned these 10 mazes - Mistakes in Maze making) and became a case study. Basically the short version is I drew the dancer, realized a maze would not fit in the body of it well and didn’t want to lose all the hours I put in, so I added the fountain for the maze ! It’s the best I could do to salvage it.
