Giraffe Maze
I was looking at a giraffe video one day and thought - hey their coat looks kind of like a maze - I should try to make that into a maze. So I did. I like the way it came out. I hope you enjoy it too !
Photo: This maze is based on a specific photo (this photo from flickr user Mad Ball) that I adapted into the maze. I picked this photo because I loved the look on the giraffe’s face.
The Original Maze: I went with a start on the leg and the goal near the right ear (the goal can be hard to locate). I hope you enjoy it ! I really like the details on this like the underbelly, the leg shadows and the tail. I formatted this for large paper so if you elect to print it go big !
Giraffe Maze
I went back and made changes to this maze, as written about in this blog post: Maze of the Week 77 Redux - Giraffe (MOTW #175). I didn’t do much work on the setting/background of the initial maze and wanted to give our animal friend a better location. It also allow me to make the start and goal larger and easier to find.
If you like animal mazes, I have some much more simple, kids focused mazes from a few years ago in the animal maze section of the site. There are over 40 and my favorites are the Iguana maze, the Pug dog maze and the Bald Eagle maze.
Here is a video of me making the giraffe maze:
