Maze of the Week #94 - BMW Welt Building

Maze of the Week #94 is of the BMW Welt Building in Munich, Germany. Apparently you can pick-up your car here if you buy a BMW in Germany. You can plan your visit on the BMW Welt website, and make sure to take some time to visit the BMW Museum across the street. It is free to visit and is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Germany.

Maze of the Week #93 - London City Hall

Maze of the Week #93 is of a cool building in the great city of London, England, London City Hall, which is located on the south bank of the River Thames near Tower Bridge. Well that is not entirely true, because this was London City Hall between 2002 and 2021, but the city hall has since moved ! Here is the crazy thing - I like that building too and may make a maze of it ! This is my second maze from London, the first being a maze of the iconic building The Gherkin. You can read about the City Hall building on the Wikipedia page. I loved the architecture and knew it would make a great maze.

YouTube: A 3 minute long open house showing the building.

Maze of the Week #92 - Kresge Auditorium Maze

Maze of the Week #92 takes us to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA which a normal person just calls MIT. This is their Kresge Auditorium building which is used for the performing arts. Designed by famous architect Eero Saarinen the building was completed and opened in 1955. I loved the look of the building and knew it would make a great maze.

YouTube: A 4 minute long documentary about the museum with some nice pictures:

The Maze: In color. Relatively easy to solve. I made new trees than those that I have used in the past (more detail /gaps vs. the ‘flat’ trees I have made before). Trying to make the trees look more realistic.

Maze of the Week #84 - Riverside Museum Maze

Maze of the Week #84 is of the Riverside Museum in Glasgow, Scotland, our first maze from Scotland. Would you believe that this museum is located on a riverside ? It is, the River Clyde. It is a transport museum designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. It is also not the first maze I have made from these architects:

Maze of the Week #54 - Heydar Aliyev Center

The building opened in 2011 and in 2013 it won the prestigious European Museum of the Year Award. You can learn more about the museum here.

YouTube: From the video and everything I have learned about the museum, personally, this is a place that I want to visit !

The Maze: In color. Very easy and I made it quickly because of the simple, minimalistic design.
